Overview
The opening shots of this endearing family film sees the garden of the Chilton home in full bloom, setting the tone for joy and matrimony. We are then guided to the nearby Holy Trinity Church, Northwood ready for the service. The bride in her gown, large veil and bouquet, walks towards the church arm-in-arm with her brother, standing in for her father. Shortly after we see her walking out, this time with her husband, smiling at each other and their family and friends.
This film is from the collection of Hillingdon Local Studies, Archives and Museum Service, a member of the London's Screen Archives Network.
