        Overview

        Early spring on the North Norfolk coast and the mussel fishermen are busy on the foreshore at Brancaster Staithe. Two miles beyond lies Scolt Head Island, the northern most tip of Norfolk, which for 35 summers and winters, the island has had as its guardian, Bob Chestney, a Brancaster man. Every day of the year, and usually alone, between the tides he visits the island. But Bob retires as warden this winter. Anglia TV follow Bob through the seasons of his final year.
