The film outlines the work of the Council for Encouragement of Music and Arts, the forerunner of the Arts Council. Dylan Thomas, a frequent collaborator with producers the Strand Film Company, was among those behind the film.
This government film is a public record, preserved and presented by the BFI National Archive on behalf of The National Archives, home to more than 1,000 years of British history.
