Overview
In a 19th Century Indian maternity ward, British nurse Deandria’s first night on the job descends into terror as mixed race babies start disappearing. As she investigates the dark hidden corridors of the hospital, she unveils a horrifying truth. Exploring the pressure of being mixed race, and the power of the British Empire over Indian mothers and their Anglo-Indian children, Catch a Butcher gives a voice to the women who were so often left nameless and forgotten; erased from their mixed race children's lives and identities.
