Overview

Made by the Corporation of the City of London to celebrate itself, this public informational film begins on police patrol in the dead of night, before going on a tour of the City. We visit schools, pubs, libraries and markets, explore the Barbican and Epping Forest, and eavesdrop at Guildhall and Mansion House as we meet dustman, mayors, bankers and Alderman. It’s a great overview of the City that aims to demonstrate timelessness but has some wonderful period details.
