Overview

This evocative film from Brian Barram shows a group of young people on a visit to Brighton's promenade in 1965. A girl holds up a saucy postcard while an existential type puffs on his pipe. He then tries to insert a second girl into a litterbin. One of the couples buys shell fish from a sea front shop and the girl later buys some candy floss. People on the beach are filmed sun bathing or smooching while we see views of the pier, pool and fun fair. We end with shots of the Royal Pavilion.
