Villagers of Brayford on a communal outing
Villagers from Brayford take to a Moor and Son open topped bus and a car for an annual summer’s outing to the South Molton Agricultural Show. Horses and carts are in evidence too as the bus drives along the country lane to ferry its passengers to the market town.
Brayford is a small rural community between South Molton and Barnstaple on the edge of Exmoor in North Devon. Several quarries have been operating since the early 1900s and the Brayford Quarry on the outskirts of the village is still a working quarry.
