Bradford Coronation Procession (1902)
Much of West Yorkshire turns out to mark the accession of King Edward VII to the throne.
Overview
Something of an epic by Mitchell & Kenyon's standards, this shows various events staged in Bradford city centre to mark the coronation, including a lavish historical pageant, a traction engine, and much celebration of the British Empire. But there are also more local displays devoted to lifeboats, lamplighters, industries and those all-important brewers and victuallers.
