A gay son talks to his dead mother in this animated documentary. Between Us Two won Best Short Film at the Singapore International Film Festival 2017 and the Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary Short at Outfest Los Angeles 2018. Singapore-born, US-based director Wei Keong Tan uses a combination of animation, archive photography and voice recordings to tell us a highly personal and reflective story.
