With no effort spared on the costumes the villagers of Belbroughton in Worcestershire turn out in force to celebrate the 1937 Coronation.
An anonymous filmmaker was on hand in the village of Belbroughton in 1937 to capture one of the countless celebrations that marked the coronation of King George VI. It gets off to a slow start but stick with it and you'll see eccentrically attired villagers, children draped in union flags and a selection of customised bikes. Some of the outfits defy description: an oddly dressed woman carrying a stuffed bird under her arm for instance.
