        Overview

        Moat Community College in the Highfields area of Leicester plays host to the first Asian Girls Festival. Organiser, Pratibha Parmar, tells Here and Now reporter Paula Ahluwalia it's been an uphill battle to fund this pioneering venture to provide everything traditional and modern to fascinate and inspire girls from the local Asian community.
