Overview
Horses, cattle, mules and donkeys - a regular farmyard of domestic animals answer the call up here. The background to this film is presumably the Anglo-Boer war. It was documented in a variety of ways by early film cameras, giving an unprecedented portrait of the conflict to British audiences back home. But the lack of titles, landmarks and detail make it difficult to pinpoint the precise time and place of this film.
