Overview
St Mary Cray was once known for the Hudson & Hull foundry and Joynson's papermill, but the industrial landscape had changed by the 1970s and so we join a filmmaker intent on documenting this community. Perhaps spurred on by the fact that this area had recently been absorbed into Greater London, this film is made for posterity.
This film is from the collection of Bexley Local Studies and Archives, a member of the London's Screen Archives Network.
