Overview
A film compendium which starts with the 1937 Coronation, where a bunting bedecked Sevenoaks is followed by scenes in London on Coronation Day itself. You can even see the Royal coach pass by along the Mall. Then it's war! We see various parades of servicemen and women, from the armed and volunteer and nursing forces, march past the worthies of Sevenoaks, listening to speeches and giving salutes. At an organised fete there's fun, games and silly races for the children.
