Overview
The anatomy of a night time bombing raid, launched from RAF Scampton in June of 1942. Bomber crews, ground crews and officers of 83 and 49 Squadron partake in preparation work to ensure the best possible chance of their mission being a success. They perform routines that would have been repeated on airfields across Britain during the hard-fought Allied bombing campaign against Nazi Germany.
