Overview
Filmed by Claude Lanzmann during the preparation of what would become his legendary documentary Shoah, The Four Sisters is based on interviews with four extraordinary and courageous women and their gripping accounts of their experiences during the Holocaust. In the second episode, Ada Lichtman from Poland recalls how while in the death camp she was forced to clean and dress dolls that had been taken from Jewish children so that they could be given to German children.
