Overview

Udo Kier (Suspria), Linda Hayden (Blood on Satan’s Claw) and softcore star Fiona Richmond lead the cast of one of the most notorious shockers in UK cinema history. A disturbed novelist decamps to the countryside to write his latest tome, girlfriend in tow, but when his publisher sends a new secretary to visit, it sets in motion an unrelenting cascade of sex and violence.

Produced by Paul Raymond, the flamboyant pornographer portrayed by Steve Coogan in Michael Winterbottom’s biopic The Look of Love (2013), Exposé was one of the few British films to be included on the original ‘video nasties’ list of prosecutable films during the infamous ‘80s video panic, and it remains a sensationally lurid tale that unfolds with a manic glee. Please note this restored version has been assembled from various damaged original 35mm elements, resulting in compromised image quality at points throughout.
