Overview
In a case of mistaken identity, an advertising executive is kidnapped, almost killed and then chased across the US. When he’s wrongly suspected of murder the police join the search for him too. Hitchcock’s final collaboration with Grant contains some of the most iconic scenes in the history of Hollywood cinema and deftly moves between genres, with Grant excelling throughout.
Ranked joint 45th in the 2022 Sight and Sound Great Films of All Time poll
