Overview
Filmed over a period of years by Evan Caradoc Roberts, an accountant at The National Library of Wales - and entered for competition at the National Eisteddfod, Cardiff, in 1978 - this title concerns the flooding of the Nant y Moch area of Ceredigion for the Rheidol Valley hydro-electric scheme. It focuses on what is about to be lost - Nant-y-moch farm (home of brothers John and James James), Blaenrheidol Chapel and cemetery - and then shows the scheme's opening on 3/7/1964.
