In a Scotch Mist
It looks grey in Braemer but that doesn't stop the crowds and King George V gathering for a Gathering
Overview
It would have to get a good deal mistier to stop the good folks of Braemar turning out for the annual Games - especially when the Royals have come all the way. Fittingly for such a traditional event, there's something familiar and unchanging about the whole affair and the way it's filmed by the newsreel cameras. The tightly packed lines of parked cars stretching off into the distance may have been a new development for 1925, but they are immensely familiar today.
