Overview
Two of the South East's major tourist attractions appear in this film from the early 1960s. Beginning at the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, we see several one-third size engines being prepared for their day's work and travelling along the over 13 miles of narrow gauge track. Next we arrive at the Bluebell Railway, one of England's earliest heritage railways, where daytrippers enjoy rides behind locomotives like 'Bluebell', 'Birch Grove' and the Adams Radial Tank.
