The British Legion proudly march and fly the flag through the streets of Sandiacre in Derbyshire.
Film-maker Ivan Kingsbury was the President of the British Legion in Sandiacre and Risley in Derbyshire until his death in 1945. We do not know exactly when he filmed this parade but it shows the old soldiers of the British Legion leading other services that were formed in response to the new conflict including the Auxiliary Fire Service. The Red Cross and St John's Ambulance service also feature.
