Overview
For one weekend, East Finchley becomes a village again as the North London suburb welcomes the All Saints Medieval Fair. This deftly-made film memento captures the festivities, from appropriately archaic pursuits, including a dancing bear, the stocks and a demonstration of bowmanship, to later introductions such as a children's slide and - best of all - a nice cup of tea. Welcome relief on a hot June afternoon.
