Overview
This home movie shows films of three birthday parties for the young members of the Lawford family, starting with David, followed by Glynis and then David, who gets an amazing cake in the shape of a steam ship. As well as the cakes and the impressive lunches – guzzled with gusto by the guests - there are party games, comedy fangs and cracker pulling. At one point, mum borrows Alan’s bow and arrow to deliver an impromptu impersonation of Eros.
