Case History: Radar and Coldrife

Northumberland makeovers: open cast to parkland.

Documentary 1978 12 mins

Overview

Two quiet corners of Northumberland get a makeover as open cast coal sites are transformed into green public spaces. This was one of several ‘Case History’ films produced by the National Coal Board Film Unit at the time. This specialist series was aimed more at ‘stakeholders’ in local government and environmental NGOs than at the general public.
