Meltom Mowbray Horse Show

Melton Mowbray celebrates all things equestrian as the Leicestershire Agricultural Society presents its annual horse show.

A day away from the farm for members of Leicestershire Agricultural Society as they gather at Egerton Park in Melton Mowbray (not 'Meltom Mowbray' as the titles suggests). It is the society's annual horse show with many fine beasts and displays of horsemanship in evidence. There are animals prized for their hunting ability and the shires for their strength and dependability. But, most importantly, there's the promise of 'Bass in a bottle' for those in need of refreshment.
