Overview

A packed school calendar at Alvaston and Boulton Junior School near Derby, with everything on offer from bee keeping to pottery. The children are inspired by their learning and make a model Swiss village, their own weather station and even build (and then light - careful with those matches) their own pottery kiln. An excellent example of the school film that dispels all the cliches of the mortar board wearing master dispensing harsh punishment on downtrodden pupils.
