Pioneering nature film by John Charles Mason - a man so enthusiastic about bees that he changed his name to JC Bee-Mason.
Overview
Bees are on their busy journey through life in this pioneering nature film by John Charles Mason, a man so enthusiastic about beekeeping that he changed his name to J.C. Bee-Mason. He also plays a starring role in the film - casually sweeping a swarm of bees into a basket with the help of a stick, unencumbered by any protective gear.
This surviving version of the film also provides an opportunity to brush up on your language skills as its intertitles are unfortunately in German.
