Nippy speeding and multiple spills during this Scalextrix demonstration in a back garden in Becontree in the 1960s.
It’s unclear whether this Scalextrix set belonged to a child, as it’s the grown-up who is having all the fun, racing two sets of two cars around a figure of eight track. The film is from the Boulter Family Films archive and features Tony Boulter in his mother’s garden in Becontree. First he races two Minis, then a pair of sports cars, then all four together. Impressive spills result.
