Writer-director Mark Jenkin, along with crew mates George MacKay and Callum Turner, talk about Rose of Nevada, in which a Cornish trawler is trapped in a time loop. Shot, like Jenkin’s earlier features Enys Men and Bait, on a clockwork Bolex camera, the filmmakers reflect on the challenge of working in a film medium with no recorded sound and where the camera needs rewinding every 27 seconds.
