Overview

This film was screened at Gorton Wakes fair in 1900, an event judged the best for some years by The Gorton Reporter, which noted that "a great feature in the fair was the prominence given to 'Living Pictures'... at Cordwell's lifeograph establishment the local picture represented the workpeople leaving Ryland's Mill." John Cordwell was the fairground showman who commissioned this film.
