Extracts from early ITV schools programmes showing the science of air and the sculptor Geoffrey Clarke at work.
These extracts are from two ITV Schools programmes, The World Around Us and The Artist in the Modern World. They provide entertaining and illuminating examples of the world at work as James Ottoway explains how lungs work and the importance of air in nature, while The Artist in the Modern World shows sculptor Geoffrey Clarke at work on an aluminium bas-relief. Unfortunately this compilation of programmes is incomplete but is presented as it survives in the BFI National Archive.
