Father of Man
Compelling story of a complex relationship between an imperious father and his son.
Overview
The story follows a young writer, Alex Jacobs, on the verge of starting a family and launching his career, a feat he's unable to achieve due to his father's lifelong attitude of perpetually putting down, destroying his self-esteem and making him feel worthless. Throughout the story Alex comes face to face with a life-changing decisions and has two options: let go of his father's grip, forge a life of his own OR repeat the cycle all over again.
Director Cornelius Walker's (star of the Oscar®-nominated short Black Sheep) delivers perhaps his most personal short film as it draws inspiration from real-life stories including his own relationship with his own father.
