Men help to land a small sailing dinghy and carry a person to the shore

1898 Silent

Overview

This film remains a bit of a mystery, though it seems to be associated with Brighton film equipment manufacturer Alfred Darling. The film has very high contrast, making it difficult to see what's going on. There seems to be someone being taken ashore from the boat by men at the edge of the water, while in the distance are a long line of similar vessels - suggesting that we're at a race event.
