London's long vanished dockside scene is the background to this jolly film which follows an all-male social outing on a cruise down the river to Greenwich

This nostalgic film, from the Duncan Brand Film Collection, follows a group of men on an outing to London's docks and wharves as they sail down to Greenwich. As they make their way down the river, the group pass several Thames barges, with their distinctive sails, as well as a large paddle steamer laden with passengers. The film ends with the group's arrival at Westminster Pier where they disembark.
