This nostalgic film opens with views of a bustling Thames Embankment - filled with ships, tugs and barges while cranes work on the busy wharves. From London Bridge we move to the Serpentine - crowded with people in pleasure boats. We're next on a boat being rowed by a woman in a straw hat before seeing more of London's famous bridges and buildings. We end with King George and Queen Mary, in an open-topped carriage and accompanied by Horse Guards, riding past cheering crowds.
