Overview
After Ute continues to exhibit strange behaviour, her parents reach out to Monika, a carer who is in charge of one of the children’s groups at the Youth Centre. As she tries to enter the little girl’s world, she senses that Ute’s escape to the crocodile is an escape from her parents and the fear of growing up.
From The Family of Reptiles and The Island is a complete program in two episodes, directed by Wim Wenders, which was included in the acclaimed German television series 'A House for Us'.
