Walk Short Distances
A wartime film about ordinary people making small sacrifices, focusing on George, who thoughtlessly uses public transport for his own leisure.

Overview
This wartime public information trailer makes an observation about the need for personal sacrifice to help get Britain through the Second World War, especially in light of desperate fuel shortages. ‘Transport hog’ George selfishly rides the bus whilst other passengers are left waiting, prompting audiences to reflect on any doubts they might have about their own contribution to the war effort.
