Overview
A miscellany of colourful footage shot in Bury in the 1950s. Ladies in fashionable frocks promote the British Man-Made Fibres Association and Kirksyl Viscose, a Lancashire product. Wreaths at the Cenotaph mark Armistice Day, and a Whit Walk wends its way through the streets. Finally, Royal Naval Association members march, and a wreath is placed on the war memorial.
