        Overview

A man goes round cutting the ties off the patrons of a north Devon pub in Hatherleigh because he feels that there is no room for suits and ties. The ties form a decorative sculpture in the pub as they are hung as trophies. Perhaps this man was ahead of the times, with male presidents, prime ministers, politicians and newsreaders going tie-free, one wonders just how long, or in this case short, the neck tie will endure.
