Westward TV Reporter Del Cooper visits Truro to find out about preparations for Truro’s centenary. The Chairman of the Truro Town Council, Rowan Williams and Truro’s Bishop, Graham Leonard explain what the celebrations mean to them and the city. Truro started as a port and grew into a stannary town for the mining industry in the early 12th Century. Queen Victoria granted Truro City status in 1877 the year after it gained its first bishop.
