The Media Archive for Central England is the public screen archive for the East and West Midlands. An independent charity and company based at the University of Lincoln, MACE acquires, catalogues, preserves and makes widely available moving image materials that inform our understanding of the diverse cultures and histories of communities between the Lincolnshire coast and the Welsh border.

Overview
It's nearly 15 feet high and carries twelve tonnes on the front axle so running into traffic can be an problem. Even so, Len Crane from Sedgley is happy to take his monster traction engine on to busy public roads. Sue Jay joins him on a gentle drive to Wolverhampton, keeping an eye out for traffic lights and making sure they don't set fire to any house roofs along the way (it's the insurance you know).
