Overview
No goals but plenty of effort in this film of Dagenham Cables football team, the works team attached to Telephone Cables Ltd in East London. The team played on the company’s sports ground in central Dagenham and reached a decent level in non-league. The ground has since been built over. The film ends with brief footage of a girl playing with a pram. Taken from the Telephone Cables archive.
