Overview
It's hard to believe that we're in wartime Britain in this lovely colour reel from filmmaker Harold Brickhill. The adults seem without a care in the world, enjoying the sunshine on the Fylde Coast while the children play and eat ice creams. Sitting in deckchairs, knitting and reading, soon gives way to frolics, however. You're never too old to go leaping down the sand dunes if the fancy takes you.
