Overview

Lord’s is a parade of parasols and top hats as “the elite of English society”, as the Topical Budget subtitler describe them, stroll around the lawns or pose in carriages during the 100th contest between Eton and Harrow. Includes some distant shots of the game in process. The match took place over two days and ended in a draw. Eton’s line-up included one Lord Dalmeny, while Harrow featured Nathaniel Rothschild, the future Baron Rothschild, and playwright Terence Rattigan.
