Overview
Londoners have always been quick to embrace any new entertainment, however fleeting, and here they enthusiastically take part in an archery competition, firing their arrows from speedboats travelling at 25mph. Cameras capture the action from boat and jetty, while also providing some incidental but appealing background shots of the land around the Welsh Harp reservoir shortly after the North Circular was built.
