        Overview

With horse brasses jangling as they come over the hill Bob Brickell's shire horses are an impressive sight. But how can he farm 500 acres in Oxfordshire utilising four-legged horse power alone? The problem is not the horses but the lack of a good waggoner to drive them. As Brickell tells reporter Lionel Hampden, "They're all in the churchyard now".
