Scout Gala Day Dance
For teenage Scouts, the Gala Dance was a good opportunity for boys to be in the band and girls to hit the dance floor.
From the collection of:

Overview
The popular Scout fundraising event was held at the Great Hall, Isle of Ely College of Further Education as part of the Wisbech Scout Gala celebrations. The girls are not shy in taking to the dance floor whilst the boys appear happier not to 'make some shapes' and just listen to the band. No doubt the elder Plume boy who attended the event was glad that Dad Derrick didn't stay too long with his camera!
