Overview
This film shows Harrow’s Lawford family during summer 1955 on various escapades, starting with the school sports day. Note deep concentration for an egg-and-spoon race and an impressive skipping sprint. The kids are then seen in the garden before a trip to the zoo takes in a camel ride, goat feeding and the chance to meet a chimp. Next comes sunbathing and splashing at Ruislip Lido before a final brief section shows a trip to meet elderly relatives, probably grandparents.
