Royal Photographic Convention - Glasgow

High spirited photographers disembark from a steamer ready for a shooting spree

1898 2 mins Silent

Overview

The Royal Photography Society annual convention took place in Glasgow in June 1898. EP Prestwich had filmed the same event the year before in Yarmouth, but he was beset with cloudy weather when arrived in Scotland. He was obliged to shift to the next day and from a slightly cramped position captured the delegates on an excursion on the Clyde steamer Lady Rowena.
